10th Annual Komedy for Kidneys - Rodney Pentland Memorial Show
On Wednesday March 1st, enjoy the Funniest Night in Niagara featuring some of Canada’s best stand-up comics including show headliner, Jeremy Hotz! The 10th Anniversary Komedy for Kidneys Rodney Pentland Memorial Benefit Show takes place at the Greg Frewin Theatre in Niagara Falls.
HEADLINER: The uniquely funny and talented Jeremy Hotz! With another stellar performance at this year's Montreal Comedy Festival: Just For Laughs and his sold out Canadian theater tour "What A Miserable Tour This Is....", as well as performances all over the United States, Europe and Australia, Jeremy continues to grab audiences with his completely original and confused, yet very astute, observational comedy.
The charity event was renamed in memory of comedian, Rodney Pentland, who passed away in 2009 from complications related to kidney disease. Pentland, who grew up in Niagara Falls, continued to entertain crowds throughout his long battle with renal disease and was best known for his outstanding impressions of Robert DeNiro, Marlon Brando and Bill Cosby. To date, Komedy for Kidneys has raised nearly $50,000 in support of Dialysis Care in Niagara. Click here to learn more about the Kidney Care Program at Niagara Health.
